I have been an educator in Newport News Public Schools for 28 years as an instructional assistant, computer resource teacher, classroom teacher, and Instructional Technology Coach (ITC). As an ITC, I have worked on the district level to create, enhance and embed technology into the education standards. As a technology leader in my buildings, I am responsible for mentoring, organizing data, training, and developing teachers administrators and staff. I have presented professional development trainings on the school, district, state and national levels. I believe technology integration is a major component of instructional rigor and engagement, I have worked on curriculum development and design teams to create meaningful learning experiences. I am a certified Google Educator, certified Microsoft Innovator, and a certified Apple Teacher.
