Future Ready Educator Cohort: Building Capacity, Increasing Support, and Fostering Collaboration

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

During their first 2 years, new teachers are trying to maintain their sanity and create their own professional and instructional practice foundation from which to build on. Years 3, 4, and 5 present a prime opportunity to help them make choices about their own educational beliefs and strategies. Prince William County Schools has developed a special program for teachers in their 3rd, 4th or 5th year that will build capacity and increase teacher retention by providing increased support and collaborative experiences.
This program combines best instructional practices and quality technology resources to enhance the teaching and learning experience. We bring together Future Ready strategies, Blended Learning environments, and personalized learning opportunities that engage, support, and motivate learners. During this session, we would like to share our plan and ideas and begin a dialog on how we can expand our professional learning network with other Virginia school divisions.
