A Teacher in Detention: How Working With Incarcerated Youth Transformed My Perspective on Teaching and Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

All students, regardless of their background, situation or circumstance, are able to do amazing things when provided an individualized and technology-rich education. This holds true with even the most disadvantaged learners and in the most challenging environments. Session participants will learn how children in state-supported juvenile detention centers are educated and how the purposeful application of instructional technologies is rapidly transforming education in these unique settings.
