What Does Your Grade Mean?

What does it mean to make an 85 in Algebra? I want my students to focus on what skills are their strengths and weaknesses rather than a numerical grade. Hear how I switched to standards based grading within the confines of a "traditional" grade-book with categories like "homework, quiz, and test." I even allow my students to continue to take assessments until they have mastered a standard. I still have unit tests, but they are graded with a rubric based on the standards tested. I will share how to implement standards based grading in any classroom.
