7 Simple Steps to Designing Virtual Interactive Professional Development

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

You may think that creating meaningful, online, interactive professional development is an intimidating task, but we will guide you through 7 easy steps. Join us for this session where we will demonstrate processes, sample classes, chat about roadblocks, and field questions about our own online professional growth program designed for PWCS teachers. Participants will learn strategies of how to create virtual, interactive professional learning opportunities. We will share our teachers' experiences, feedback, and reflections about how they were able to grow and learn from engaging, influential conversations. Throughout this experience, teachers were able to explore the SAMR model, design and implement digitally-rich lessons that incorporated strategies for EL Learners and ISTE standards for students. Whether you are teacher or administrator, before you know it, you will be creating your own virtual learning opportunities! Materials, digital resources, and activities will be shared.
