You probably already use centers, and maybe even station rotations, but come learn new ways to empower your students to engage with SOLs as independent learners. We will share several examples of how we set up centers and station rotations in our second-grade classrooms, talking you through identifying goals, instructional design, structured rotations, Wixie activities, and strategies for implementation. We will also share how we differentiate what students encounter and create as they work in our centers so that we can more effectively meet our learners where they are and help them make progress in their learning.
