We all know using technology in the classroom increases student engagement but how exactly do you begin integrating technology into your daily lesson cycle to produce lasting results without going crazy and becoming frustrated? The answer is using a five step gradual release method that takes the students through a progression of steps in order for them to become independent thinkers and users of technology. By conducting a few well timed short teacher demonstration lessons you can create self sufficient students who utilize technology to collaborate, communicate, create and critically think all on their own.
