Super Charge Your Data Collection and Special Education Classroom

Data collection and differentiation can prove to be troublesome at times. The incorporation of GAFE, Edulastic, Quizizz, PlayPosit, and Newsela allows for the teacher to modify their instruction to empower students to take control of their learning and monitor their goal progress. During this session teachers will learn how to use Google applications to monitor and collect data for IEP goals in addition to student personal goals. Also, the teacher will learn how to use the other platforms to promote student agency and empower students to have voice and choice in their learning experience. Teachers will have the opportunity to see work samples and see how these platforms can work to differentiate within the classroom and supports models such as a flipped classroom or flexible grouping.
