Welcome!

The VSTE Board of Directors and Conference Committee are excited to have you join us at the 32nd Annual Technology in Education Conference. #VSTE17 promises to be the best ever.

Use the schedule to plan your conference. VSTE will NOT be providing a printed copy of the schedule so if you prefer paper, please print your own. If you create an account with sched.com, you can save and share your favorites as well as print a personalized schdule.

IMPORTANT: While we encourage you to save and share, indicating interest in a session DOES NOT guarantee a seat in a session. All sessions, with the exception of Promethean’s Escape Room, are first come, first served.

The best graphics for helping students enhance their learning come from the camera you and most of them carry everywhere: a smartphone. We’ll start with some basic techniques for making great photographs and discuss a variety of ideas for using photography everyday in your classroom. After we take a short photowalk around the hotel to practice, we'll look at easy ways to edit, manage, and share your images using Google Photos and other tools. Finally, if time allows, we’ll play with easy ways to create 360° VR images that can be used in Google Cardboard (think DIY Google Street View) on that same smartphone. Be sure to bring your Apple or Android phone so you can play along.
