Are you tired of the same boring professional development sessions? Are you annoyed by a lack of variety in PD sessions? It's time to empower a change. In this session, we will explore personalized professional development opportunities including Twitter chats, EdCamps, Flipgrid, Voxer, and others. We will look at how personalized PD can be utilized at both the individual teacher level and as a school-wide initiative. As we work to find the best type of PD for all, we will, as the ISTE Standards for Educators state, "pursue professional interests by creating and actively participating in local and global learning networks" and "dedicate planning time to collaborate with colleagues to create authentic learning experiences that leverage technology."
