Use the schedule to plan your conference. VSTE will NOT be providing a printed copy of the schedule so if you prefer paper, please print your own. If you create an account with sched.com, you can save and share your favorites as well as print a personalized schdule.

IMPORTANT: While we encourage you to save and share, indicating interest in a session DOES NOT guarantee a seat in a session. All sessions, with the exception of Promethean’s Escape Room, are first come, first served.

Can you recall turning out the lights in your classroom and watching a filmstrip movie? A VCR movie? A DVD movie? And now a YouTube movie? With YouTube, our little teacher fingertips tap into an incredible resource for introducing, teaching and reinforcing concepts, but are we using the tool efficiently and effectively? Maybe we are turning it on, and the kids are tuning in and quickly tuning out. With a few simple changes in the delivery of videos to students, we can create the desired outcome of classroom video usage from a “movie” mindset, to a powerful teaching tool. Join us for this concurrent session where you will eat a little popcorn and share a few laughs all while learning incredibly simple strategies to strengthen lesson plans you have already developed.
