The VSTE Board of Directors and Conference Committee are excited to have you join us at the 32nd Annual Technology in Education Conference. #VSTE17 promises to be the best ever.

Use the schedule to plan your conference. VSTE will NOT be providing a printed copy of the schedule so if you prefer paper, please print your own. If you create an account with sched.com, you can save and share your favorites as well as print a personalized schdule.

Chanel Alford-Campbell grew up in Richmond, Virginia and attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She was an award-winning middle and high school Marketing teacher for 12 years before becoming a technology integration specialist in Alexandria City Public Schools, where she currently works. Since being hired in 2018, Chanel has developed a new technology-based professional development strategy for her school and the district, which includes online modules. After school she leads a group of “female coding technicians” — young girls interested in getting into coding and computer science. She teaches them java and python, and feels that they are the future of technology. Chanel is dedicated to being at the top her field, as evidenced by the attainment of several technology certifications. Chanel is one of the recipients of the 2019 NextGen: Emerging EdTech Leader Awards. She believes that learning should be fun and innovative. She loves presenting at conferences, teaching others new skills, and technological gadgets. Chanel currently serves as a proud VSTE Board Member! She is also a brand new Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL).
