Darrell Andrews
Lord Fairfax Community College
Associate Professor - IT

I graduated from high school in 1974 as an honor graduate, with no idea of what I wanted to do in life. I decided to enroll in the local community college, and completed an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts in 1976, with still no idea of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I then spent a year at the University of South Florida, during which I had a really, really good time. Still with no definite plans on what I wanted to do, I decided to take some time off, work, enjoy life, and return when I had a "better idea" of what I wanted to be when I grew up. I didn't make it back to collegiate studies until ~ seventeen years later. If you'd like to hear a little more about my journey and perspective, which eventually resulted in a B.S. in Industrial-Technical Education, an M.Ed. in Instructional Technology, and an M.S. in Information Security, please join me in this session, as we take a look at what Hybrid Pathways may offer, from the perspective of someone who took the "road less traveled."
