Use the schedule to plan your conference. VSTE will NOT be providing a printed copy of the schedule so if you prefer paper, please print your own. If you create an account with sched.com, you can save and share your favorites as well as print a personalized schdule.

IMPORTANT: While we encourage you to save and share, indicating interest in a session DOES NOT guarantee a seat in a session. All sessions, with the exception of Promethean’s Escape Room, are first come, first served.

This is my 8th year teaching 6th Grade U.S. History at Elkton Middle School in Rockingham County, Virginia. I was named Virginia's History Teacher of the Year in 2017. During Rockingham County's digital conversion process, I served as a digital pilot teacher with Chromebooks and MacBook Airs. In 2012, I graduated with a B.A. in History/ Political Science from Bridgewater College and earned my M.A. in History from James Madison University in 2015. Also, I participated in summer seminars, through a grant from the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, at Harvard University in July 2016 and Yale University in June 2018.
